Rushing the Season?!

I had to laugh because I was in Hobby Lobby back in June and they were setting up their Christmas decorations while a row or two over was all of their 4th of July stuff! If that isn't proof that retailers push the season earlier and earlier every year, I don't know what else is!

That got me thinking though... Maybe I should push the season also! Not because I want the cold weather to get here any fast than it has to, but because of the lead times on some of the products that I order. The main product being the Snaptotes take about 3 weeks from the time I place the order (after getting your approval on the design). In November, I will be posting the cut-off date for the Christmas delivery as soon as I am notified of it.

My proposal... Start thinking about getting a family portrait now! When was the last time you had one done? Does the idea of a family portrait by the lake with a cool breeze sound nice? What about all the bright colors of flowers? Maybe your a fall person and like the idea of all of the colorful leaves sound more like it? Maybe your the type of person that likes the classic look of a plain black or bright white background.

What ever your style is, or even if you want to try something different or unusual, let me know! But my point... start thinking about your Christmas cards now, because it will sneak up on you before you know it!

Mary Kay decided to change all of their color formulas to mineral! While the new product is exciting, I have a TON of the previous formula that I need to get rid of! I also have quite a bit of the old formula of lipstick and lipgloss.
